Let the games begin!

What?? How has this happened? I can’t believe it’s already April 1st. It’s been a somewhat soggy first quarter and now we are hoping for some beautiful sunshine and a pleasant spring. April also means we are firing-up the fire pits for our Firepit Fridays! The first one this year will be in just a few days, Friday, April 5, from 5:30 – 8:30 pm. And that also means…..Cornhole! Let the games begin!

For those of you that have attended a Firepit Friday, you know the fun that lies ahead! On these evenings, we sell wine by the glass or bottle, have homemade goodies available to enjoy around the fire pits, and host our monthly Cornhole tournament where teams provide us with a night of comedy! There may or may not be a little smack-talking going on as well! Our winners get their names on the winery’s perpetual trophy for the month and a “Corn Star” medal to parade around with. We hope you can come out and join in the fun!

April 20, we will also be hosting another wine club pick-up party from 1-4 pm. The menu for lunch is being prepared, wine club bags are being put together and the request to The Big Guy for a beautiful day of sunshine has been submitted. The all-female country pop group The American Hunnies will be playing for us that day. It’s going to be a lot of fun! Should you need to update your card on file for your wine club package, now is the time to give us a call so we can assist you. 

We will be bottling at the winery this coming week so our back area may look at little different. We are working on our new Chenin Blanc, Picpoult Blanc and 2023 Symphony. As we’ve mentioned, these whites will complete our new white wine flight and we are excited to begin showcasing them! Winemaker Brock is also releasing his new Carignan this month too.This is a delicate medium-bodied varietal of Spanish origin that boosts flavors of raspberry and cherry. It is a perfect red to enjoy as the weather warms up and Brock is pretty proud of how it has turned out! Come by and give it a taste!
