And the Twisted Family Continues to Grow……

Howdy, y’all, from Texas! As some of you know, Marc and I have been here for the past 10 days, helping our daughter Britnee and family welcome their 4th child, little Reese Hollyn Ghutzman. She arrived on February 22 and we are truly blessed to add another Grand to our tribe! Mom, dad, baby and siblings are all doing well. Opa and I, however, are exhausted!

In our absence, Brock and wife Megan hosted guests at Twisted Barrel and did a wonderful job! They bring a younger vibe with them along with some new energy. We appreciate all of you that stopped by for a glass of wine during our absence and your encouragement and kindness to Brock and Megan! I know you were spoiled appropriately!

This month at the winery will be a busy one! We’ve got a couple of private events we are hosting so check our website for tasting room time adjustments. We will also be bottling once again. Many of you have graciously offered to help us on the bottling line and we truly appreciate it! So far, we’ve had enough hands with family helping. And this past bottling, when our labeling machine broke down and Marc proceeded to call it some rather “colorful” names, I was reminded that perhaps that is not something our wine club members need to hear! We wouldn’t want to tarnish our reputation or anything!😇

Some exciting things we are working on – beginning in April, we will have a complete white wine tasting flight for those that enjoy the lighter wines. This will be the first time we’ve been able to offer a white wine tasting menu to mirror our popular reds. Hope you can come check it out! April will also bring another Wine Club Pick-Up Party. We’ve been blessed with quite a few new wine club members and this will be their first party with the “Twisted Family”. Fun stuff!

Just some bookkeeping clean-up: if you have not picked up your last wine club package (or a couple!), please stop by and we’d be happy to get you caught up. Also, if your card on file has changed or expired, please give us a call so we can update that for you.

As always, we appreciate your support of Twisted Barrel Winery. We also wish you and your family a blessed Lenten and Easter season.

Cheers,
Denise Warmerdam
