There’s a morning crispness in the air, leaves are beginning to scatter in the yard, and the smell of fermenting grapes is permeating the Lodi area. I love Fall! This is also the season of local fairs and festivals. We were honored to participate in our Lodi Grape Festival a few weeks ago. We got to see some old friends as well as meet new ones. Twisted Barrel wines were well-received and we enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of an amazing Lodi tradition!
October also brings another party!! We will be hosting our wine club pick-up party on Saturday, October 15 from 1 pm to 4 pm. This one will be a lot of fun!! This pick-up will be bottles of Grenache, Petit Sirah and Zinfandel. Our family will be serving traditional bratwurst, sauerkraut and homemade spaetzle. We’ve also got the amazing DeJay Mullins lined up to entertain us with his beautiful saxophone music. This event is complimentary for our wine club members and their friends. Anyone interested in joining the wine club – this would be a perfect day to stop by! Please let us know if you plan to attend. We hope you can join us!
This year, we are also offering tickets to an exclusive wine-makers dinner to be held on November 18 at the winery. Guests will be treated to a delicious dinner paired with Twisted Barrel wines. The evening will feature special guests Verl Tanner, Mark Tanner and Brock Warmerdam who will all share their wine expertise throughout the evening. Tickets are $50 per person and we only have 30 seats available. Email or call if you are interested.
