A promise made……

This picture was taken in mid-September on one of our first rainy days. We had just finished crushing some Teroldego and the boys were moving juice and cleaning equipment.
I remember this day well. There was an air of excitement for the harvest as well as some time to pause for gratitude. It’s always joyful watching our kids work together on common goals. We even had three of the Grands there that day trying to find a way to help. I had just walked out into the parking lot to document the moment with the family when this gorgeous rainbow appeared – almost as a halo above the winery. For me, this felt like complete affirmation of just how blessed we are by our friends and family, but also a reminder of the promise of blue skies ahead.   We appreciate all of you that have stopped by recently. Twisted Barrel has been packed with visitors lately and we are grateful. Our flavored popcorn pairing continues to be a customer favorite.
Other winery news – we will celebrate a Fire Pit Friday this week, March 3, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Come by for a glass of wine and some s’mores. The corn hole will be warmed up and ready for some competition too!
We will also be extending our hours to include Thursdays and Fridays every week, beginning March 23. We will now be open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5 pm. We hope this will better accommodate those that like to taste during the week.
As always, we appreciate all of you and hope you can stop by sometime soon.
Cheers, Denise Warmerdam (Mom and Oma)
