And May is for Mothers!

May…… warmer weather, flowers in bloom, school classes winding down, and Mother’s Day! I thought it only appropriate to share just how blessed I am to be celebrating this holiday with my mom! She is pictured above with our daughter Breanna and Breanna’s daughter, little Indi. Three generations right there. Many of you will recognize my mom – she and my dad are at almost all of our winery events and they are our biggest cheerleaders. We appreciate them so very much. I would share my mom’s age, but she would KILL ME – so I will just say she is amazingly healthy and incredibly beautiful for being the mom of two, grandmother to five and great-grandmother to ten with eleven coming this summer. Truly, I am one lucky lady to have her as my mom!

And now on to happenings at Twisted Barrel. Our wine club event in April was epic! We appreciate all that attended. If you have not done so, please stop by soon and pick up your wine club bag. We are also showcasing our new Carignan this month in the tasting room. Brock is very proud of how this vintage has turned out and we would love for you to come share a glass with us. In addition, we now have a full white wine tasting menu to offer! Come sample our Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Picpoul Blanc, Albarino, fan-favorite Symphony, or one of our sparkling wines. We are excited about these new white wines and hope you can give them a try sometime soon!

This Friday, May 3, will be another Firepit Friday at Twisted Barrel. Along with the fire pits and the warmed-up Cornhole games, we will be sharing some salsa, chips and churros with our guests. Hope you can come out and enjoy the end of your work week with us! We will also be offering a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to all the moms that visit us on Mother’s Day, May 12. Stop by and let us honor you!

Lastly, as I always share, we are so very appreciative of your support of our little winery! We cherish our “Twisted Family” and enjoy spending time with each of you! We hope you have a nice Mother’s Day weekend and can celebrate and pay tribute to the moms in your life.

Cheers,
