Twisted Barrel Winery has some big news!
We are pleased to announce the upcoming sale of Twisted Barrel Winery to the Marc and Denise Warmerdam family, a longtime local family.
Marc and Denise, along with their five adult children and families will be operating the winery.
We are impressed with Brock Warmerdam, their youngest son, an enthusiastic and talented winemaker who has been working at a Lodi winery for the past several years and is now embarking on a new chapter of his life.
We support the Warmerdam family’s vision of continuing the production of premium wines and cultivating the close relationships we have enjoyed with our wine club members.
The Tanner family is planning to be available to the Warmerdams during a seamless transfer of ownership.
It is a bittersweet moment for the Tanner family.
We are looking forward to our retirement and are pleased to be leaving the winery in the hands of such a capable winemaker and family.
At the same time, we will miss our gatherings and close relationships we have built with you.
We do plan to continue to attend events, we will just now be on the other side of the bar!
