A PERFECT FIT!!

The rumors are true! We have hired someone outside of our family to give us a hand at the winery and she’s a perfect fit! Meet Ms. Joyelle Mattson. I do believe we have known Joyelle since she was in diapers. She attended grade school and high school with our five kids. She, too, comes from a family of five siblings, born and raised in Lodi and her parents and siblings are also some of our favorite friends! Joyelle and her husband, Wayne, have been married for five years and live in Lodi. Joyelle brings enthusiasm, energy, and an infectious personality to the tasting room. We are so excited to have her join our team! You will see Joyelle most Saturdays working with us and we hope you get to stop by soon and welcome her into our Twisted family!

August will be a busy month at the winery and also will bring the beginning of harvest. August 2nd is our monthly Firepit Friday from 5:30 -8:30 p.m. This time, we will be celebrating Olympic season by hosting “The Cornhole Olympics” at Twisted Barrel Winery. Find a partner and come challenge the contenders. The winning team will take home a case of wine. So, start your warm-up stretches, pick your partner and head out for some fun this Friday evening.

Unfortunately, Saturday, August 3rd, we will be closed for the day. The owners of our complex are repaving our parking lot so our tasting room will be inaccessible for the day. We will, however, be back open and ready for customers on Sunday, August 4. We regret having to be closed, but we are thankful to Mr. Alvin Costa, the owner of our building, for taking such good care of our facility!

We will also be showcasing some new treats in the winery. Along with adding a couple of fun new popcorn flavors, we are now offering a personal wine glass charcuterie. They are $5 each and just the right size to pair with your tasting. Come by and check them out!

Our white wine selections continue to be a popular refreshment during these warm summer months. If you’ve not tried the white flight, come on by and let us spoil you a bit. The winery also remains nice and cool and a haven for those looking for relief from the heat.
