And so it begins again……….

Happiest of New Years to all of you! Wow! Where has this year gone? We are starting our third year as owners of Twisted Barrel. Hard to believe! We’ve learned so much, enjoyed meeting new customers and made some wonderful friends. We appreciate all of you that stopped by throughout the holiday season. Some of you even shared goodies and we can’t thank you enough!  We are truly blessed!

As many of you know, we’ve been closed for a couple of weeks during the holidays to allow us time to bottle and reorganize. We went from Christmas decor in the tasting room to everything being jostled around for bottling. The boys remind me that this is a working winery and a necessary part of the business. I get it, but still have a hard time watching them drive a forklift through my cute little tasting room! Ugh! I’ve had to bite my tongue on several occasions. And, I’m pretty sure I saw our “elf on the shelf” rolling his eyes a time or two as well! However, we will have everything back in order to reopen the weekend of January 6. Hope you can stop by!

As mentioned, we’ve been busy bottling! We have a new 2020 Carignan and we are restocked with our Cabernet Sauvignon and popular Teroldego. We are also working on a new Chenin Blanc and a Rose Carignan that will compliment our white wine tasting menu. It is nice to see our shelves completely full again and ready for the new year!

Starting Saturday, Jan. 6, we will be open once again every Thursday through Sunday in 2024 from noon to 5 pm.  We will also continue to host gatherings for anyone looking for a small venue. Our next wine club pick-up party will be January 20 from 1-4 pm. We have Donovan Simpson coming in from Nashville to entertain us – should be a great day!

As I reflect on the year gone by, I continue to be so very thankful for this family experience we have embarked on, for our loyal customers, for the precious friends we have made and for your support of Twisted Barrel Winery! May God bless you abundantly in 2024!

Cheers,
